They say that a man with dreams needs a woman with a vision. She needs to have the faith, the strength and the determination to keep the dream going and Usha Jain was all this and much more for her husband DK Jain. Whenever people talk about him, they cannot but mention his pillar of support - Usha. She lived up to her name in every way – "Light of Dawn".
She was an entrepreneur, a factory manager, a PR manager, jewellery and artefact curator, in charge of Lumax’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR).
She was a strong, feisty, independent self. She was her own woman, a woman of ambition and compassion, a woman of extraordinary spirit.
She was the architect of the Lumax's CSR Policy. It was an initiative created and nurtured by Usha Jain throughout her life and the Lumax Charitable Foundation, of which she was a founder member, expanded its social initiatives over the years to include SDG 3-Good Health and 4-Quality Education.
